We built this tree service company based on trust. We grew up learning to climb trees and cutting them when they needed to be cut. We have a deep appreciation for what we do and are confident we are able to serve you to the highest level of quality. We have a sense of duty to fulfill the best tree service possible, because we care about trees to the point where we have a profession of making trees our living. We have been providing the community of Austin, TX, for some time now and receive excellent customer feedback and plan to continue working here for even more time. We keep our job as simple as possible. We are arborists and tree service providers who are eager to serve you, the customer, in the best way possible. We do not mind wearing t-shirts and jeans and working outside in order to serve you better. We have spent many years of our lives climbing on top of many trees in this part of Texas. We are familiar with the arbors in this area and provide services in tree prevention and removals. Not every sick or dying tree needs to be removed, because we have experience in treating sick trees. When trees show signs of declining health, be sure to call Austin Treeworks to get our experienced judgement to care for them. Whether we help the tree by deep root injection or other techniques, we are available to help reduce infection on these trees. 

Our team of arborists are also excellent at some additional services you may be unaware of, including: 
  • Oak Wilt Treatment - around these parts of Texas, oak wilting is not unusual. Oak wilt is a destructive fungal disease of oak trees that wilting, discoloration, and defoliation. It may be transmitted by insects, especially to a naive arborist who is pruning your trees, leaving access for an insect to infect an exposed part of the branch. Our oak wilt specialists are able to analyze your oak trees to see if this fungus is now taking a part of your trees. If there is an entire plant nursery, the entire crop of oak trees may be lost if there is pruning during a time when there is high insect transmission. If there is a fungus infestation, we are able to use fungicide to kill it. Better yet, it is much better to have preventive treatment. 
  • Web Worm Prevention and Treatment - Webworm are caterpillars that leave webs around trees foliage while they eat the leaves, resulting in leaf loss. Sometimes entire branches may be taken over. We treat this in a safer matter than spraying chemicals around, which may be harmful to pets and children. We usually use injections that will kill the worms once they eat from the tree. These injections are safe for your pets and children, though they are toxic to the worms. 
  • Canopy and Street Tree Branch Raising - When people cross the street, they should not have to duck in order to make it through. When you hire us, we will be able to raise the tree branches to above 14 feet in order to allow bigger trucks to not destroy your tree branches. You also want to raise the levels of the tree branches to a higher level to make it so guests do not need to duck to get into your home. They will be able to enjoy your canopy if they do not have to worry about getting poked in the eyes by your tree branches. 
  • Roof Clearing - It is safe practice to keep your trees at least 6 feet away from any structures, whether it be your roof, the windows, or anything else. This may be especially important for your home, because if there are tree branches going over your roof, you may allow rats to have access to your roof and mess with things in your home, especially infiltrate your home. Even without rats, if you keep your tree branches at least three feet away from structures, you will allow the tree to grow normally without having to intervene for a few years. 
  • Plant Nurseries - Plant nurseries and health involve keeping your plants healthy while reducing the strenuous and expensive need for continuous pesticides. If you strengthen the health of the plant and allow it to kill of predators, then you will need fewer pesticides to manage them all. Common practices such as mulching, regular watering, ridding the area of infected leaves, fertilization, and cross-breeding, are able to build plant defenses against diseases and insects. Pest management involves allowing plants to rid themselves of pests rather than just dumping pesticides on it, which may become toxic to soil and be economically wasteful. 
  • Debris Hauling and Removals - We remove debris from storms and damage into our shredder and send them to the recycling bin. Whether the material is unwanted growth, scrub brush, or just a bunch of tree material on the ground after a heavy storm, we are able to take them and shred them. If you want to keep the wood chips for yourself or keep the mulch, then we are able to pack it nicely for you. You are also able to use it as firewood. You may need to have the wood sit out for a few months before you are able to use it, because all the water the tree accumulated needs to dry out. You are then able to make some hickory-smoked sausage or keep yourself warm over a campfire on a cold night while telling ghost stories, all coming from your own tree. Talk about memories.
